Voelkischer Beobachter The official newspaper of the Nazi party Up to 1933 the paper appeared especially Munich with a circulation of about 130,000. From 1933 it was published also in Berlin, and from 1938 also in Vienna. In 1941 the paper reached a circulation of 1.2 million. Its style was popular and subscribing to it was a symbol of loyalty to the Nazi Party. The Voelkischer Beobachter expired along with Hitler and the Third Reich in 1945.
